Have YOU forgotten the Angles? Who are they? What do they DO?
Does the Church ignore the Angles? Works of Art with Angels - Treatise on Angels.

According to most dictionaries an "Angel" is defined as a form of spirit, that includes immortals, guardians, guides, attendants, and messengers. The word "Angel" comes from the Greek word "angelos", whose Hebrew translation means "messenger." Therefore, Angels are generally envisioned as an intermediary between mortals and the Divine.
In Western religions, the term "Angel" is used specifically to distinguish benevolent spirits from malevolent spirits or demons. It is implied that this form of spiritual being mediates between the realm of the divine and the world of mortals.

Angels are a popular source of inspiration due to their protective nature. Whether people really believe that they exist or not, it is nice to think that somewhere there are angels watching over us all.

A Church is the servant of God, not of Ideologues and Modernists! In 1917 Our Lady of Fatima, Mary - the mother of Jesus - visited three little children in a village called Fatima in Portugal. The vision was witnessed by many thousands of people. Her message of peace and hope for people of all the world was clear and concise.
Our Lady of Fatima has personally visited many thousands of people before and after that particular vision. Each and every person worthy of God's care and the love of Jesus Christ has been gathered into the Blessed Mother's arms for the journey that takes them into the company of Our Lord. The Blessed Mother is not of any religion. Being able to see into the most hidden corners of your heart, she knows you even when you feel lost to her love. Even in your blackest despair Mary will be there to guide you back. You only have to ask and she will hear you.

Our Lady of Fatima is truly the Queen of Heaven and Earth. She is the Patroness of Purity of Mind, Heart, Body and Soul.

The Story of Mary Magdalene.

© Richard Stodart, all rights reserved.

The Mary Magdalene who is widely known in Christian teachings was first officially confirmed in her role as a fallen woman by Pope Gregory the Great in 591AD. "She whom Luke calls the sinful woman, whom John calls Mary of Bethany, we believe to be the Mary from whom seven devils were ejected according to Mark. This he declared in a sermon. That became church teaching, although it was never adopted later by Orthodoxy or Protestantism. In 1969 the Catholic Church officially separated Luke's sinful woman, Mary of Bethany and Mary Magdalene.
The main focus of the Mission is in support of Our Lady of Fatima, but I have come to believe that such an important person, so intimately involved in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ can not be ignored, and her true story must be revealed.
Much has been written about her to date, and within these pages on this site, her story will also be told for all to read and wonder at. You can also locate books available on the subject of Mary Magdalene from Amazon.com.

Almost no other heroine of the bible has been so often represented by artists as Mary of Magdala. She was devoted to Jesus, following Him from the city of Magdala, through Galilee, Samaria and Judaea to Jerusalem. She was the last to leave the cross and the first to be at the grave.

Some sources credit Mary Magdalene as being an active principal in the discipleship of Christ, saying that "she was as woman who knew the All." She is also viewed by many as an archetype of the eternal aspect of the feminine, which Christ revealed to her through His love.

Many myths exist about Mary Magdalene. One tells of when she traveled to Rome to explain Jesus' resurrection to Tiberius Caesar. During her audience she held up an egg to symbolically explain the resurrection. Caesar laughed, telling her that one had as much chance of resurrection as the egg in her hand turning red. Whereupon, the egg turned red. Some credit this myth as the source for why eggs are colored at Easter.

A MESSAGE OF WARNING AND HOPE

If we do not heed Our Lady's warnings soon, then Her horrible prophesy may well be realized in the near future, even in our own back yards. She told us that God had chosen to use Russia as the instrument of chastisement to punish the whole world if we did not, by our obedience, prayers, and sacrifices, obtain conversion of Russia to the Catholic faith. She promises us: " If my requests are granted, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. " But She also warned us: " If My requests are not granted, Russia will spread her terrors throughout the world raising up wars and persecutions against the Church, the good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. " She has told us that the whole world (the part surviving) will be enslaved by the atheistic tyrants of Russia.

Now in the 21st Century, no one in 1917 could have imagined the terrors that the world faces today. The Lord will save his world - but will you be saved?

It seems on the face of it that Russia is no longer the threat that it was perceived to be in 1917. You must remember that the children to whom Our Lady appeared were very young at the time, and it is quite within the realms of reality that they actually got the message wrong. Who would know better than the Lord what was going to happen in the 20th century? The underlying message of the appearance of Our Lady at Fatima was that She Could Appear! She is the first messenger of God, the mother of Jesus our Lord. The message was simple. Change your ways, or suffer the wrath of God.

Money worries are a State of Mind

Let us pray.

O God, Whose Mercy is infinite and whose treasures of pity are
inexhaustible, graciously look down upon us and increase in us Thy Mercy so that we may never, even in the greatest trials, give away to despair, but may always trustfully conform ourselves to Thy Holy Will which is Mercy itself. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Mercy, Who with Thee and the Holy Spirit shows us Mercy for ever and ever. - Amen

Religious Words

Now in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city
of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man
whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was
Mary. Having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, you highly
favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!"

But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled at the saying, and
considered what kind of salutation this might be. The angel said to her,
"Don't be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you
will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and will call his
name 'Jesus.' He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most
High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, and he
will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his
Kingdom."

Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, seeing I am a virgin?"

The angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the
power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one
who is born from you will be called the Son of God. Behold, Elizabeth,
your relative, also has conceived a son in her old age; and this is the
sixth month with her who was called barren. For everything spoken by
God is possible."

Mary said, "Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it to me according
to your word." -- Luke 1:26-38

Notice Mary's simple answer to God (by way of His angel): "Behold, the
handmaid of the Lord; be it to me according to your word."

This utterly simple, humble prayer is a wonderful model for us. First,
she declares herself to be a handmaid (or servant) of the Lord. Second,
she simply asks that it be done to her according to God's Word." This
prayer is guaranteed to be in line with the will of God, because it is
in response to God's Word, and God reveals His will in His Word. Since
it is in agreement with God's will, of course God will grant this
request!

You may be thinking "Yes, but Gabriel himself hasn't delivered a message
from God to me, today!" Perhaps not, but God has delivered many precious
and wonderful promises to you in the Holy Bible! There are wonderful
words in the Holy Bible, which is inspired by the same God who send
Gabriel to Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, about the wonderful signs
that will follow believers in Jesus Christ when they proclaim the Good
News. Lord, let it be to us according to your Word!

"Well, Mary was special." Yes, she was. She became the mother of the
Messiah through this prayer and her obedience and faithfulness to God.
You are special, too, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ. If you
aren't, you can be, just by deciding to be, and praying for salvation
according to God's Word. If you are believer in Jesus Christ, then you
can accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God by presenting
yourself to God as His servant, and asking that it be done to you
according to His Word. Pray that simple prayer and come away healed. Praise God!

In Giving, We Receive
December 21st
Fourth Sunday of Advent
Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled. Luke 1:45
This may not be stated directly in Scripture, but God's promise to each of us is that when we give away what we need for our survival, blessings will follow. We see this in Mary's "Yes!" for in agreeing to be the mother of the Messiah, she abandons her very safety into God's hands.
What does our giving cost us? If we help another when we need help ourselves, if we give monetary assistance when we can barely make ends meet, if we go out of our way to make someone's life easier when we happen to be "living on the edge," then we are putting our Christianity into practice. Those who extend themselves in this way, without expectation of reward, may discover blessings that follow-a new friendship, an unexpected check in the mail, a job offer from "nowhere," a deep sense of peace. Love in action becomes a habit, a way of living, an experience of Christmas every day. Once we begin the practice of selfless giving, we may not want to stop.
Give us your generosity, O God, that we may hold nothing back from you.

Fatima, Portugal
"The Vision of Our Lady of Fatima "

The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared 6 times to 3 shepherd children; Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta; between May 13 and October 13, 1917. She came to the little village of Fatima which had remained faithful to the Catholic Church during the recent persecutions by the government. Our Lady came with a message from God to every man, woman, and child of our century. Our Lady of Fatima promised that the whole world would be in peace, and that many souls would go to Heaven if Her requests were listened to and obeyed. She told us that war is a punishment for sin; that God would punish the world for its sins in our time by means of war, hunger, persecution of the Church and persecution of the Holy Father, the Pope, unless we listened to and obeyed the command of God. At Fatima, Pope John Paul II said on May 13; " the message of Fatima is more relevant and more urgent " then when Our Lady first appeared. The message is an anguished appeal of our Heavenly Mother, Who sees us in great danger and Who comes to offer Her help and advice. Her message is also a prophesy, a clear indication of what was about to transpire in the 20th century, and what is still going to happen infallibly in the near future, depending on our response to Her requests.

THE MIRACLE

As a great sign that the whole message was truly coming from God, a marvelous miracle was worked in the sky above Fatima before 70,000 witnesses on October 13, 1917 at the time, date and place that Lucy and the other two children had prophesied in the name of Our Lady of Fatima. The children were told by Our Lady that God would perform a miracle so that people would believe in the apparitions. The date was October 13, 1917, in Fatima. On that date, 70,000 people came to see the phenomenon. The miracle occurred with the sun. All could stare perfectly at the sun without blinking, or even hurting their eyes. While all were watching, the sun rotated, got large and small, got close to the people, and got far away from them. The sun " danced ". Every single person who was there testified to seeing the sun dance, even non- believers who immediately dropped onto their knees and begged for forgiveness.

MIRACLES TODAY Our Lady of Fatima continues to work miracles today through Fatima water which is sent from Fatima, Portugal around the world. This Fatima water sprang up in Fatima at the spot the Bishop told people to dig, very near where Our Lady appeared at the Cova de Iria (the Cove of Peace) in Fatima. The water is known to cure people with sicknesses and poor health. Still, other people are cured when they go on pilgrimage to Fatima, which is about 90 miles north of Lisbon, Portugal. Our Lady of Fatima also comes to shepherd the fatally ill across the transition to be welcomed by God. She has no care as to what a person's faith may be in this world, so long as they believe in God and have led a life that has been as pure as is possible in this mortal world.

You must believe, that Our Lady of Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary is not a possession of the Catholic faith. Rather it is the other way around. The Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Fatima exhorted all the people of the world to follow her instruction.

Grace Doesn't Need Credentials

  • Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name, and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow us. Mark 9:38

I know people who are gifted teachers, healers, vocalists, interior designers and counselors, who, like many, have no formal training. Sadly, while no one would dispute the quality of their work, they often have to contend with those who are affronted by their success. "Where are your credentials?" ask their detractors.

Clearly, Jesus does not sympathize with those who insist upon formal credentials. All he does comes from within, and so he appreciates others who rely on a prayer and their own abilities to get a job done - even the job of driving out demons.

Open us to your power, O Lord, that we may do wonders in Your name.

No study of Christianity is complete without reference to the Gnostic Texts.

THE GNOSTIC SOCIETY LIBRARY

An Introduction to Gnosticism and
The Nag Hammadi Library

You are never alone if you accept God in your life. Accepting God into your life is as easy as simply keeping his laws in mind as you go about your daily life. Accepting that Jesus was not only the Son of God, but his deciple on earth all those years ago; that Mary was the Mother of Jesus, and Our Lady of Fatima was a vision of the Blessed Mother seen by three little children in Portugal. Talking to any of the Three is the same as talking to a real person. Out loud so others can hear you, or silently in your mind. In any case you choose, you will be heard.

Don't be confused by the claims of Radicals, as all three of the religions familiar to Christians, that is, Judaism - Christianity -  Islam all believe in the One God. There is no other God but God. The books of Faith of each are sacred texts to each, and the deciples and prophets are common to each. People get a little confused because each Religion will use different names for the same identities. Be tolerant - be compassionate - have Faith  in God, have Faith in Yourself.

Times have changed. Christians are accepting new ideas. The Churches of various religions still serve as focal points for the communities who use them. Social and Religious activities still take place in these buildings and are important parts of our social fabric. The trends in Western culture would seem to indicate that many people, particularly the young have become disillusioned with these formal structures though. Thus this Mission. No specific religion. No finding it necessary to declare for one religion or another. Simply being Christian is enough. Surely it is all that God requires. Through this Mission you can belong to a world wide community of Christians, rejoicing in the bounty that The Lord has bestowed upon us.

How often do you hear it said. "I don't know what the world is coming to?" You look at the TV, or newspaper headlines and see only murder and mayhem. Do not worry. These things have always been with us, they are just easier to report now, so we see more of it. Do you remember the choice given to us in the Garden - in the Beginning. Yes, the Lord gave us the capacity to make our own choices. Unlike the lesser animals of the Earth who live out their lives purely at God's direction, we as Humans were given the ability To Make Our Own Choices. We can follow the right path to the best of our abilities. Honesty, compassion, forgiveness. In other words, to the best that we are able, we can follow the teachings of Jesus as we move through this life. Remember that He accepts that we are not perfect. The idea is to try as best we can though. The other Choice given to us. Follow the path of Evil. The patterns and traps set out by the King of Hell, Satan. Oh so easy to follow this path. That's how Satan makes it. He knows people have a choice, and the road to Hell is littered with the bones of those who thought they would gain advantage over others by taking what they thought was the easy way. For if you Believe in God, you must of necessity Believe in Satan.

You don't have to make vast sacrifice in your life! The Lord does not want you to make sacrifice. The Lord wants only that you lead a good life, and above all - Believe in Him. Even if you Get It Wrong, so long as you Believe in God, Trust in Jesus, have faith in the Blessed Mother then you will be saved. That simple. Believe in God as our saviour. That's what it means. Forgiveness.

The Lord will forgive you without requiring payment. Psalm 40:6 Sacrifice and offering  thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

The battle between Good and Evil is being  waged right here on earth, and the only way  to win for the Christians - is enjoin the battle!

A Prayer to Your Guardian Angel.
. Support the Mission and be blessed.

A lovely prayer found on the Internet.
Father, we do intercede for those who do not know You and ask that You would
draw them to Yourself, in Jesus name. Father, for those who are lost in
darkness, may the Light of Christ shine in and give them new life. In Jesus
name. Amen.
A prayer for others:
O God
Please help someone who is poor
Please help someone who is sick
Please help someone who is abused
Please help someone who is ignorant
Amen
God want's to help us, but those who don't know enough to pray for
themselves need us to ask for help for them. I like to use this as a
repetitive prayer for meditation. I feel that for each time I say it, four
angles are dispatched to help make the world a better place.

Psalms:

In Praise of the Lord. Psalm 8.
8:1 O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

In The Service of God. Psalm 9
9:1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
9:3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
9:4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
9:5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
9:6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
9:7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
9:11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
9:12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
9:13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
9:14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
9:15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
9:16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
9:18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
9:19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
9:20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

What IS Original Sin?

"Original sin" is about being judgmental and purporting to know the difference between good and evil. Adam and Eve demonstrated the principle by deciding, that being naked in public was "evil" and they hid themselves till God made them some clothes.
Ever since being naked in public has been against the law in most countries, which shows the degree of logic and rationality of "original sin" as well as its persistence.

Why has the Rosary been hidden from all Christians, regardless of their version of the Church that they follow? The words of God are for all.
