| The Abbey of Our Lady of Fatima | Judith Chapel | |
|
The Abbey will be built to accommodate a number of people, monks and nuns of the order. Five permanent, five transient. Celebacy is not observed, nor Silence. These do not serve the interests of God on this earth. Satan is at large in this world, and Christians need to make as much noise as possible to alert people to His presence. The duty of members of this order is to spread the Word OF God, and the Promises of Hope and Salvation of Our Blessed Mother. The Abbey will be used as a residence for members of the order on a visitor basis. That is, most members will continue in their daily lives in their fields of employment, home making, and child rearing. The Abbey will be there as a place of prayer, enlightenment and fulfillment. The Glory Of God and the Blessed Mother will be rejoiced in Gregorian Chant. The Abbey will not be large and imposing, but modest and blended into the landscape with only a low stone wall around the perimeter, while its construction will also be of sandstone and granite. The Hall will be the main feature, used for meetings, community, meals and gatherings. The accommodation cells may be on a second level toward the rear of the building, with deep shielded veranda walks all around, both on ground level and above. [... Throughout the 1920's, the trickle of pilgrims became a flood of large numbers, for whom eventually a Pilgrim Hospice was opened (a hospice is technically the name of a place of hospitality for pilgrims) and in 1931, a new Holy House encased in a small pilgrimage church was dedicated, and the statue translated there with great solemnity. In 1938 that church was enlarged to form the Anglican Shrine, more or less as we know it today....] |
The Chapel will be built at the opposite end of the landscaped area to the Abbey. Its front entrance will face the front entrance of the Abbey. It's dimensions should be the same as the Holy House of Nazareth. It will be the place of prayer and contemplation, and it is here that visitors to the Abbey will first come. It's name is a dedication to my late wife, her spirit taken as I watched by Our Lady of Fatima, the Holy Mother Mary.

The Directions of The Mission Of Our Lady Of Fatima. There are certain material things that need to be put in place to effect the growth of the Mission. However long it takes, the goal is to work to these ends. Praise God. Praise the Lord. Praise The Blessed Mother. The first Sandstone Block for the new chapel and Mission has been obtained. One small block, but with the Lords help the others will follow. To the glory of God,
