Grace Doesn't Need Credentials

I know people who are gifted teachers, healers, vocalists, interior designers and counselors, have no formal training. Sadly, while no one would dispute the quality of their work, they often have to contend with those who are affronted by their success. "Where are your credentials?" ask their detractors.

   Clearly, Jesus does not sympathize with those who insist upon formal credentials. All he does comes from within, and so he appreciates others who rely on a prayer and their own abilities to get a job done - even the job of driving out demons.

Open us to your power, O Lord, that we may do wonders in Your name.

You don't have to be anyone specifically trained in any field to become a member of The Mission of Our Lady of Fatima. All you have to have is a strong desire to Listen to the Word of God, and be enthusiastic about having Him in your daily life. You need to be able to recognize that The Blessed Mother holds as important a place in the Spiritual life of Jesus and the Deciples, as the Deciples do themselves.

The Mission of Our Lady of Fatima follows traditions set down by the ancient Catholic way. Not the Roman Catholic way of modern times. Therefor people of any professed faith are welcome in our Mission. Belief in the teachings of Jesus, the messages of Mary, and the ultimate Will of God are all that you need to anchor your life on this earth.

As a member of the Mission, all that you are asked to do is help at least one person each day.

No matter how small a task, no matter how big a task. It may be as simple as smiling happily to the check-out girl in the supermarket and offering her a bright "How are you today?" - and listening to the answer. It may be as big and important as saying a prayer for someone you know when you can't perhaps get out of the house.

Take quiet time out each and every day for prayer, meditation and solitude. Listen to your inner thoughts so that you may easily allow the Lord into your everyday life.
